Have your say on High Speed Rail in June

North Warwickshire residents are being urged to have their say on the controversial HS2 rail link.
Organised by the various Action Groups along with the Borough Council, the ‘shadow roadshows’ will  supplement the formal consultation event on 11 June at Water Orton.

Councillor Dominic Ferro, Borough Council Spokesperson on HS2 said: “ The HS2 rail link will significantly affect areas of North Warwickshire and the Borough Council has formally opposed the development.  With only one official event organised in the Borough, we have been working with the various North Warwickshire Action Groups to organise these additional roadshows. I would encourage anyone interested to go along and make their views known. “

Future Shadow Roadshows and Advice Clinics

Water Orton Advice Clinic: 7 -9 June, 9.00am-12noon and 3.00pm-8.00pm.
Middleton : 18 June, Middleton Village Hall, 1.00-6.00pm.
Coleshill : 24 -25 June, Coleshill Market Hall, 10.00am-4.00pm
Newton Regis: 26 June. Venue to be confirmed.
Polesworth : 2 July – at Polesworth Carnival, Station Rd playing fields
Austrey: 4 July, Austrey Baptist Church 2.30-7.00pm
Kingsbury: Date and venue to be confirmed.
